SERVICES - COMMERCIAL PROGRAM

A Commercial motor vehicle accident can change a person's entire life from one moment to the next, and experts say the physical injury often takes less time to heal than the psychological after-effects. The Commercial Program was designed to help people involved in Commercial motor vehicle accidents, who have some form of fear when being on the road. The program is very customizable and will be administered depending on the patient, accident history and medical history.

Every person reacts differently to shock and should be treated in a different manner. Clear indications that a person is in shock like screaming is seldom the case, most people are quite calm and then often don't get any attention.

Psychological after-effects are often revealed days or even weeks after the accident. People are known to suffer from post-traumatic syndrome with typical symptoms such as depression, fear, sleeplessness, crying attacks, heart and stomach ailments and the fear of Driving. The mind looks at the situation over and over again trying to try and help the person assess what went wrong.

Fear & Over-cautiousness while being on the road can lead to a lot of different issues, from being over tense causing muscular or joint problems, to loosing focus on the big picture causing another accident. We have treated all types of people including the traumatic accidents where the driver doesn't want to return to work, to the person who is afraid to be on the road but still willing to drive(with fear) in greater fear of loosing his/her employment. We feel that after every accident the driver should be assessed in some way or another to clearly try and indicate whether or not there may be some little form of post traumatic syndrome.
